With an identical menu and ambience, the Itaim branch is almost as successful as the always
crowded headquarters, in Jardins (R. Peixoto Gomide, 1.901, tel. 3081-2158). When choosing
one of the starters, do not hesitate to order one of the hot focaccias with thin pasta, with
varied fillings. Among the pastas, a sure suggestion is the gnocchi in a fresh tomato sauce and
basil leaves, served around a tempting stracchino cheese fonduta. The crispy breaded filet
breaded in homemade flour is also beautiful – although the chosen garnish, linguini in butter,
was very al dente on the day of the test. Typical dessert of the Italian island of Suitoia, cannoli
is a tube-shaped fried dough filled with ricotta cream, glazed fruits, chocolate chips and
